About me

Welcome to my page! I am a geologist who graduated from the Institute of Geosciences at the University of São Paulo (2022). I am currently a Direct PhD Candidate (FAPESP scholar) working on the SACRE project - Water Integrated Solutions for Resilient Cities.

During my doctoral studies, I am undertaking a research period as an International Visiting Graduate Student at the University of Waterloo (2025-2026), consolidating a global perspective on water security and urban resilience.

My career is marked by a synergistic approach bridging academic research, market practice, and public management. My current research focuses on understanding the behavior of pollutants (such as nitrate) and predicting long-term impacts on urban aquifers using reactive transport modeling.

Areas of Expertise

  • Hydrogeology and Hydrogeochemistry
  • Contaminated Site Management: Direct investigation, geophysics, and sampling (with previous experience at Arcadis).
  • Mathematical Modeling: Reactive transport of contaminants.
  • Groundwater Management: Knowledge transfer for public management (São Paulo State River Basin Committees).

I have additional training in Isotope Geochemistry and actively use tools for a deep understanding of the Earth system. I frequently participate in scientific forums, including the Brazilian Groundwater Congress and the IAH World Groundwater Congress.
